For organizations, Mass Collaboration is ultimately about outcomes. While individuals might enjoy personal social or financial benefits en route to the outcomes, the main benefit to organizations is some type of outcome, such as:
Product & Service Development
Communications Development
Service & Support
In addition to achieving the specific outcome, there are other considerations. Specifically we should be concerned about the Economics & Consequences of Outcomes.

To this I would also add Competitive Research - I think as Mass Collaboration evolves, organizations will soon realize that Mass Collaboration allows them to better understand the competitive landscape, and to anticipate consumer demands, manufacturing demands and additional marketplace dynamics, particularly if an organization effectively engages all stakeholders (employees, customers, manufacturers, sales etc.).
